Story
This years epic ride will visit all 20 Premier League stadiums, travelling the length of the country in the name of raising money for Saints Foundations 20th anniversary. We will set off from St James Park, home to Newcastle United FC, on the 4th June, embarking on a huge journey that will visit all 20 clubs competing in the 2021/22 Premier League before finishing at Southamptons St Marys Stadium 9 days later (12th June). This mega fundraising challenge is our longest, toughest and biggest Bike Challenge yet, in recognition of the huge milestone Saints Foundation is currently celebrating, 20 years of life-changing work in the community. For two decades now, Saints Foundation has been transforming lives in and around Southampton. With their support, hundreds of thousands of local people have become more involved, healthier and empowered members of their community.
This is the the 6th Saints Big Bike Challenge that I’ve undertaken but where Huddersfield to Southampton in 2019 was the furthest so far, at 260 miles over 3 days, this epic is in a different league as we will cover almost 900 miles over the 9 days. I like to think I’m a fairly competent distance cyclist but I’ve no real idea if I can achieve this. What I do promise is that I’ll give it my very best attempt . Your support and donations will help to get me through the pain barrier and spur me on.
Thank you all for your support
