Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

The Sabre Charitable Trust is a micro charity working at grass roots level with poor rural communities to help them improve their standard of:

  • Education
  • Health
  • Sanitation
  • HIV/AIDS awareness
  • Environment and conservation awareness

Through a collaborative programme engineered by, and with the Elders, District Education Officers, Medical Establishment Advisors and Conservationists their aim is to improve the communities' lifestyle and to ensure their development plan is gradual and sustainable.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Sabre Charitable Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Cap'n Bob and his Merry Seamen are determined to win The Marlow Dragon Boat Regatta and will put in an hour extra training for every pound you donate!  If they win, this will greatly raise the profile of Sabre, so please sponsor Cap'n Bob's team now!
