The team who successfully completes the most challenges will win sweet victory over their fellow volunteers and staff members. Most importantly, the event will raise funds and awareness for GVI’s Charitable Trust - the President’s Village Children’s Home in Port Glaud.
The Presidents Village cares for orphans and children who have parents that are not able to look after them and cannot live at home. Some children have been abused while others have disabilities or learning difficulties, others just don’t have a safe place to live. All are in need of care and the home provides a safe environment for them to live. The President’s Village is currently home to 57 children, ages 3 months to 18 years old. With limited funding and resources the home struggles to provide even basic necessities for the children, with luxuries such as toys and books only provided by generous donors. Our help is needed to purchase school uniforms, stationary and to construct a playground so that the children have somewhere to play. Every little bit helps so donate today and improve the quality of life of these children!
