One in four women and one in six men will experience domestic abuse at some point in their lifetime. Two women are killed each week in England and Wales by a current or former partner. Domestic abuse rates have surged during this global pandemic. Lockdown has meant that Survivors are literally trapped with their abusers. 

Refuge supports around 6,000 women & children on any given day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence. 

To raise some money for this incredible charity, I will be running 10K every day for 10 days, starting on the 1st of July and ending on the 10th of July - a total of 100K/62 miles!!!
