"Where it may not be possible to add days to life, we add life to days."

For over 30 years, The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice has been caring for the people of Glasgow by providing free palliative care for those aged 18 years and over with terminal illnesses, and support for their families and carers.  The Hospice has grown from strength to strength and is now recognised as a leader in specialist palliative care.  The staff care for around 1200 patients each year, together with their families and carers.

During that time the Hospice has occupied premises in Carlton Place, Glasgow, which have been redeveloped as much as possible; planning regulations and listed building status means that no further adaptions can take place.  Space is at a premium and there is a pressing need for the Hospice to move to a new facility.

After careful consideration, it was decided that the best solution was to relocate to a purpose built facility within Bellahouston Park which will provide a state of the art facility for the people of Glasgow for generations to come.

The cost of the project is £21m, to date the Hospice has secured over 80% of the overall costs with £3.5m still to go.  We put together our video in the hope of raising much needed funds and helping the hospice reach their target.
