Sponsored Canoe Event - Take 2 · 7 August 2015

We support people, young and old to cope with cancer and other illnesses

Story

Matt Gould and myself Martin Stone are back again with our sponsored canoe event!

Last year we participated in a canoe event to raise money for this charity.  It was all very new to us and didn't go totally to plan, however this year we have learned from past experience and want to do it bigger and better than before!

We will be dropped off in Hemel Hempstead, North of London on 8th September and will travel back to Tamworth via the Grand Union Canal by canoe.  This journey should hopefully take us 5 nights and 4 days to complete.

Our families have all been affected by cancer and chronic illness in some way so we wanted to do something to help local people who are suffering.

The Tamworth Wellbeing & Cancer Support Centre offers such a fantastic range of support for people affected that we really wanted to do something to help them again.
