Story

Dear All,

As a result of getting far too tipsy and overzealous on New Year's Eve, I am, believe it or not, taking part in this year's 10k Run in Manchester on Sunday the 18th May!

Until now I think I have been in denial but now that May is looming, it is becoming all too real!
Crazy I must be!  But the reminder that I am doing this for a good cause is jolting me into action and forcing me to get motivated and prepared!
This preparation naturally includes actually getting some sponsorship!  Otherwise I will have an easy excuse to pull out!

I am running on behalf of Action for ME, an illness which unfortunately affects my wonderful Mum, and I am really happy to be doing this to raise money for her charity, in hope that more information about the illness and ways of treating it can be found.

I know that you will all support me whether you are able to donate or not, so thank you in advance.  Wish me luck.  I will need it!

Candice.
