Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

Me and my partner have decided to do a sponsored slim from Tuesday May 16th until Tuesday July 11th. Our aim is to lose a minimum of 16lb each! For every pound we lose up to 16 we will donate £1 per pound EACH. For every pound over 16 we lose we will donate £2 per pound EACH.

We will update on our progress fortnightly.

My Beautiful Nana was sadly taken from us very suddenly due to Sepsis, and we all truly believe that this could of been prevented. So much more needs to be done to stop this from happening to more people and I'm sure every penny will contribute towards even making a slight difference.

Please help us on our journey with your kind donations no matter how big or small.

Our contribution will count towards Lord Ashcrofts urgent appeal to raise £250,000 for this cause where he is going to double the total raised!

Thank you

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
