CancerHelp Preston is based at our two support centres, Vine House in Preston and Croston House in Garstang

CancerHelp Preston, like all other small charities at this time, is going to struggle to survive. We rely heavily on income from our charity shop sales to keep us going and with all shops closed and no sales being made, together with all of the fundraising events that we were planning being either postponed or cancelled, we need to look elsewhere to get support.

For the last 30 plus years we have been helping people survive the impact of cancer or a bereavement and we are incredibly grateful to all of our supporters during this time. If the impact of this dreadful virus is anything like anticipated, we must be here during and after this as the NHS will be endeavouring to look after patients with the virus. We are already seeing the NHS make unimaginable decisions around cancelling cancer patients’ appointments and treatments being postponed, all of which will further add to everyone’s anxieties.
