Story

We are running to support more cancer nurses with their education and see them grow and flourish in their own developments as well as improve in the high quality care that we provide to patients at UHB.

In 2022 we were able to support cancer clinical nurse specialists in courses such as Advanced Communication Skills, Health Assessment, Symptom Control, Compassion Fatigue Training, attendance at conferences and away days for service improvement.

These are often courses available over and above the mandatory training provided by the NHS and supports in their development, motivation and retention, and in turn improves the care and support that our patients receive.

Your support will make a  huge difference to our staff!

Thank you

Shareen, Kal and Joti xx
