Cancer Research is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. We’ve saved millions of lives by discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.

Cancer survival is improving and has doubled over the past 40 years in the UK – now half of people diagnosed with cancer survive their disease for ten years or more, thanks to research.

We fund research into more than 200 types of cancer, including the one that’s most important to you. From the most common – such as breast, bowel, lung and prostate cancers – to rare types of tumour and children’s cancers, we support ground breaking science that benefits everyone.

A group of about 20 if us doing our bit for this wonderful charity. This is going to be the toughest challenge some of us will all have ever  faced before. We are going to walk from Lincoln train station at 8 in the morning on Thursday the 10th May and will be in Newark Vodafone offices after walking 7 hours 20 miles walk in the afternoon.
