The 3 Peaks Challenge is a well known and recognised past time for many outgoing trekkers across the country.  Eight members of The Corps of Army Music will mark 20 years of the formation of the corps by performing a newly composed fanfare by Captain Mick Walters on each of the three peaks; all within 24 hours!  The Corps also wishes to celebrate the fact that recent changes to the structure have allowed for more music specialism within its 700 musicians by forming three brass bands, a string orchestra and three pop groups in addition to the quality wind bands which already exist.  Whilst attempting this challenge, the Corps would like to raise money for The Soldier's Charity in the process.
