Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Coventry Half Marathon on 28th February to raise money for a beautiful little boy called Camren.
Camren is 5 years old and has cerebral palsy. This means the muscles in his legs are stiff and he struggles to control them. He cannot walk independently yet. He has been accepted to have an operation called Selective Dorsal Rhiztotomy in St Louis, Missouri, USA - this will release the stiffness in his legs and make it easier for his to learn to walk. Very intensive physiotherapy will follow to re-train his muscles on how to work properly. For this operation, the family need £30,000, and the physiotherapy will cost £15,000 over the next three years.
My son Tristan, 6, was fortunate enough to have this operation in 2014 and is well on his way to walking independently.
If you can spare a few quid it would really help to get Camren's operation in 2016.
Thank you for reading.
