Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When Ben was diagnosed with hearing loss just a couple of days after his birth, we were completely shocked and unprepared. Since then, we have received so much support from the National Deaf Childrens Society. Everything from sign language, welcoming us to the deaf community, emotional support and practical issues. They have opened us up to so many inspirational stories. I would love to be able to make a donation to the charities funds to help other families & children going through similar.

I will be running in the Ultra-Trail Snowdonia. It is a 103-mile ultra-marathon in the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park. It includes over 10,000 meters of climbing (approximately 10 Munros!!!) I will have 50hours to complete the run and will be spending the next few months preparing and doing a lot of running in the mountains!
