We offer free support to people with cancer and their loved ones

Story

Maggie’s Centres are completely free, drop-in facilities for people with cancer to get support, speak to others in a similar boat, and participate in cancer-friendly classes and activities. You don’t need an appointment - anyone can turn up and get help whenever they need it. It’s an incredible resource and one that is clearly so needed.

I only heard of Maggie’s recently, through my Mum, who was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. She’s lucky enough to live walking distance from a Maggie’s centre, and the last time she was there, she got me a flyer for their June fundraiser - because it’s a DOG WALKING CHALLENGE and I have a tiny adorable dog who loves walking. Do I love walking? Not massively, but Val does, and I would like to raise some money for a charity that is helping my Mum. I’m gonna walk 100km, which is like 62 miles, in June, with Val, and if you’re able to donate a little money, I’d really appreciate it. Cheers!
