Story
If someone had told me 18 months ago that I would be running the GNR on Sunday 12th Sept, I would have thought them mad. But due to a major pandemic, I found myself living back at home with my folks and in an effort to try & stay sane, I dusted down my trainers & hit the hilly country roads of Hampshire and here we are.
Many of you will know I love my sport & fitness but a naughty little tumour behind my right knee decided to interrupt this a couple of years ago. Luckily after seeing two consultants & having numerous tests I was advised it was benign & to leave it be for now.
I love having a goal to aim for but any amount of donation would give me the extra incentive to get across the finishing line in a decent time (I’m so competitive with myself it’s bonkers)!
I chose Rob’s charity as I find MND the most horrific disease that currently has no cure. It randomly affects people, even those who are fit & healthy, which is just so awful.
