Story
2 people very close to me have had their lives changed forever by dementia. It is an unforgiving illness and strips a person of everything while loved ones watch them disappear.
I know I cannot change things, I cannot stop this awful disease but I can give some of my time and raise some money to help support the nurses at Dementia UK.
That is why I've decided to do something completely crazy. I've signed up to complete the London2Brighton Ultra Challenge. 100km (well 106km) continuous walking.
Leaving London at around 8am on a Saturday morning in May and arriving at Brighton Racetrack some time on Sunday. I'll be walking through the night, relying on my own determination to get me through the dark times, the pain and exhaustion.
I have been challenged to raise £600 to be able to take part and support Dementia UK as much as I can. You can help me reach that target by heading to my JustGiving page
I look forward to seeing you on my walk!
This is a 2nd page to continue my fundraising as the previous organisation is no longer active and my page is closing. All money raised on there will be included in my actual total.
