Thank you for visiting our Dance: Make Your Move fundraising page.
Students (aged 6-11) of Sanskruti School of Dance, a Cambridge-based south Asian dance school (http://www.sanskruti.org.uk) together with Lucy McMahon (http://lucymcmahon.wixsite.com/home/dance-projects), a contemporary dance artist and choreographer, bring a new dance piece "Pratham" (meaning 'first') using Bharatanatyam and Contemporary dance vocabulary, which is especially created for Dance: Make Your Move competition for the British Red Cross on 17th June 2018 at the Stantonbury Arts and Leisure Milton Keynes. Our little performers are excited to be taking part in this event in aid of the British Red Cross and can't wait for you to watch their performance! So please dig deep and sponsor our dance and help us make our move for people in crisis here in the UK and across the world. If they win in the local heat, they will get a chance to perform at Indigo at the O2 in London.
The British Red Cross are the largest humanitarian organisation in the world. They help people in crisis right here in the UK for example: teaching First Aid, responding to emergencies such as fire and floods and by providing health and social care to those in need. They also help abroad by providing humanitarian aid to people affected by natural disasters and emergencies and conflicts, such as the current humanitarian crisis in Syria.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Please help us to support their life-saving and life-changing work.
If you would like to come and watch us on the 17th June, please book your tickets here,
