Story

As part of the 24 Challenge - At Calor we are challenging you to come together and get involved with our 24,000 kilometre challenge.

Our aim this year is to reach a combined 24,000kms distance within the company - for every kilometre that is recorded Calor will donate €1 towards Samaritans Ireland

We are kicking off this challenge by organizing a group walk in Dublin & Belfast on the 24th September 2022. Please join us on the 24th and help reach our target of 24,000 Kilometers before the end of the 24 Challenge

Remember the main purpose is to raise much needed funds for the Samaritans and have fun within your team or as an individual!!

Whatever you're going through, a Samaritan will face it with you. They are here 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

#Your24challenge

Samaritans Ireland provides emotional support and is a lifeline for those who have nowhere else to turn, supporting more and more people every year. We believe that suicide is preventable, and with your support we can help more people to avoid that crisis point. We do this by being there for anyone who needs someone, by campaigning for changes that can save lives and by equipping people with the skills to look after their mental health and emotional wellbeing as well as be there for others. Samaritans is a critical service and now, more than ever, we need the publics continued support to be there and reach those who are struggling to cope. With more than 2,300 volunteers in 22 branches across Ireland, we are a lifeline for those who have nowhere else to turn, supporting more and more people every year. Our dedicated volunteers are going above and beyond to be available for those in need during these very difficult times. Our free helpline is available round the clock on 116 123.
