Story

As a lifelong Leeds Rhinos fan, I have many fond memories of both Kevin Sinfield and Rob Burrow. Their teamwork and commitment on the rugby field was incredible to see as I was growing up. Hearing the news that Rob Burrow had been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) was devastating for so many people.

Since Robs diagnosis, seeing the friendship between Kevin and Rob, and what Kevin has done to raise awareness about MND has been truly inspirational. Watching the documentaries about MND and seeing the devastating impact it has had on Rob and so many others, has really impacted on me.

I have decided to run the Leeds Marathon with a group of friends to help raise money and support the great work that so many people have already done in raising the awareness of this terrible disease.

If you are able to support this fantastic cause and donate, to help get one step closer to finding a cure for MND, I would be incredibly grateful.

As Rob Burrow said ‘We all need a friend like Kevin’
