Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Callum Wallis, When I was 11 I fell ill with acute appendicitis and was hospitalised for a month. I was also diagnosed with possible irritable bowel disease- ulcerative colitis (IBD). As I recovered from hospital, my symptoms stopped and I was never fully diagnosed. At around the same time my younger cousin, Arlan, was diagnosed with Crohn's- a type of irritable bowel disease. A year later, During Christmas time, my symptoms began to start again, and after about a month I went for a colonoscopy at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Crohn’s and colitis UK have been a great help and are doing incredible research and support for anyone with irritable bowel disease. on the 8th and 9th of August, I will be hosting A 50-mile bike ride at Thetford forest in Norfolk. Will you sponsor me and/or you can join me! All ages are welcome and multiple different courses are available for people at different skill levels. There will be a £2 participation fee and donations are also available to be made at the site and online. The main course is 10 miles long so you can do it in segments and 5 laps total.
