Story

For anyone that doesn’t already know I am a type 1 diabetic and was diagnosed when I was 4 years old. In March I am running my first half marathon to raise money and awareness for Diabetes UK. I have chosen to run for Diabetes UK because obviously they are very close to me and have done a lot for me over the years, so this is something little that I can give back to them. With the generous donations that will go a long way, I am hoping to see a cure sooner rather than later. A cure is really important as it would stop lots of people suffering from this auto-immune disease.
