Story
The biggest funder of refugee aid in Calais has just pulled out, leaving groups providing food, clothing and shelter at risk of closing down.
There are 2,000 refugees living on the streets and in the forests of Calais. 300 of whom are unaccompanied children. They're all facing a winter with no food, shelter or basic protection.
With the cold closing in, conditions will be worse than ever before. People will become more desperate, and more people will lose their lives if we don’t act now.
We're a group of ex-volunteers who have come together to launch an emergency fundraiser.
It’s up to all of us to show refugees in Calais that they haven't been forgotten. Please donate what you can today.
We need to raise enough funds to give organisations a chance to keep everyone safe through the winter months.
Thank you!
