Story
At MYTIME, we believe no child's destiny should be defined by their beginning. That’s why we fight for the rights of young carers to ensure they receive the support, opportunities, and friendship that every child needs and deserves.
I have decided to take my support of the amazing charity I work for to the next level... by jumping out of a plane. I am hoping to raise £350, this money will go towards MYTIME's support for young carers across Dorset.
£25 pays for one young carer to take part in a fun, memorable, and enriching activity day out.
£90 pays for our School Support Programme to run in 1 school for 1 week.
£110 pays for one young carer to take part in a weekend break away at our accommodation centre.
£210 pays for one young carer to take part in our 8-week Full Potential Programme.
Meet Sadie. Sadie’s mum has multiple sclerosis, and Sadie has been caring for her since she was just 5 years old. Sadie does a lot to help her mum, but it’s not easy. She’s often exhausted, she finds it difficult to keep up with schoolwork and she worries about the future. Most of all, Sadie feels alone, even though there are an estimated 700,000 young carers in the UK today. MYTIME exists to level the playing field for young carers like Sadie, by providing them with the support, opportunities and friendship that every child needs and deserves.
