Story
UNICEF was originally created by the UN in 1946 and next year they would have provided food, clothing and healthcare to children who have faced famine and disease for 70 years.
For someone who only bought running shoes just over a year ago, this is my first serious, running challenge. My exercise is usually running for the bus or train and I have only ever walked 10 km.
So if you aren't moved by the amazing work that UNICEF does all over the world to help protect millions of vulnerable children, donate so I get off the sofa.
My target is £250 which can be used to provide 2,000 children with treatment and injections for Polio which fortunately our children in the UK get for free.
Some light entertainment about other 'athletes' who have donated their time for the cause can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Okh_CelzAq8
