Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Our family lost an incredibly special person from all our lives when my beautiful Auntie Fiona very suddenly left us all behind with so much heartache, causing our lives to totally flip upside down.
Auntie Fiona was only 24 years old when she fell asleep for the last time in July 2014. She was the most amazing Mammy, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Niece, Cousin and Best Friend that any of us could have ever wished for. We just wish we could have kept her longer. Anyone that knew Fiona, knows how quickly she would light up a room with so much love and laughter, whether it be her gorgeous smile, contagious laugh or the ‘blonde moment’ comments! She really was just the most amazing person. Our lives aren’t and will never be the same without her in it.
Auntie Fiona will forever live on within our funny stories and memories, in fact the majority of my childhood memories are with my Auntie Fiona. I looked up to her as a big sister growing up and remember wanting to be just like her. My forever role model.
We find comfort knowing that she will be with her Dad (my Grandpa) who also passed away very suddenly from a heart attack at just 51 years old.
This year seems to be a bit more special to me as I am turning the age that my Auntie Fiona was when she left us behind. It has really put life into perspective for me.
To celebrate the life of my unbelievable Auntie Fi, I will be taking the plunge at Sky High Durham… a plunge out of a 10,000ft high plane!! On 3rd August 2023. This will also be in the hopes of raising money and awareness for the British Heart Foundation, in memory of both my auntie Fiona and my Grandpa (Fiona’s Dad). A charity very close to all our hearts.
