I recently had some very exciting news- I have been accepted to volunteer in Ghana for three months with International Service on an International Citizen Service placement. I will be leaving in April! ICS aims to inspire young people in the UK and overseas to become active citizens who are passionate about long term community development.

The first part of my placement is a challenge to raise £1500 towards the work of International service and their ICS partners. The money raised will go towards enabling the overall costs of ICS, ensuring that they can continue to send youth volunteers to the developing world to make a lasting difference to disadvantaged communities.

Amongst other things I'll be busking around York and hopefully hosting a music night. I'll be posting updates of any events that I will be hosting!

Whether it's a contribution of 10p or £10 it will all make a massive difference to my fundraising and I would really appreciate any donation or support for upcoming fundraising events!
