Story
On 14 May 2023, I will be running the Rob Burrow Marathon in Leeds alongside my mum and two cousins.
We will be running the marathon in memory of my Aunt, Susy, who we lost to Motor Neurone Disease last year.
MND is progressive and symptoms worsen over time. Sadly, MND severely reduces life expectancy and most people with MND die within five years of the onset of symptoms. Although there are a number of treatments for MND to help sufferers, unfortunately, there is no cure.
