So at 8 am on 21 September I will be setting out on the Lake District three peaks challenge with my parents and siblings. We will together (I hope) climb the three highest peaks in the Lake District Scafell Pike, Helvellyn and Skiddaw with as few arguments as possible.

I am putting myself though this physical and emotional turmoil in memory of Joan my Grandmother (how would be telling us all this is a very silly idea). I am hoping to raise money for Eden Valley Hospice as they provide outstanding care every day, which I witnessed first-hand when Joan was admitted to the hospice earlier this year. There outstanding care made a difficult time for our whole family much easier, there kind words and support will never be forgotten.

So in memory of Joan please donate to this worthwhile organisation.
