Story
Bayshore Medical Center
I am the Director of Operations at Bayshore Medical Center. In my role, I see the tremendous amount of work it takes day in and day out to care for the many COVID-19 patients from all departments. Beyond the physicians and nursing teams, we have environmental service aides, radiology techs, dietitians, physical therapists, security guards, registrars, maintenance mechanics, transporters, phlebotomists, pharmacists, inventory coordinators and more who are working around the clock to serve our patients. I am proud to serve alongside these teams, and in honor of their hard work, I am raising funds to purchase supplies and equipment that will help in the fight against COVID-19.
Hackensack Meridian Health
New Jersey now has the second largest number of COVID-19 cases in the nation and that number is expected to climb over the weeks to come with increased testing. As those numbers grow, the strain on health care will only increase. On every level, there is need. More than ever, Hackensack Meridian Health's mission to take care of our families, friends and neighbors has an urgency that is a call to action for everyone who has ever been touched by our hospitals, urgent care facilities, physician offices, nursing or rehabilitation centers. From personal protective equipment, to ventilators, sterilization equipment, support for isolated patients, emergency tents, increased staffing costs, and more, your support in fighting this pandemic matters, more than ever. We understand these times are difficult for everyone. If you are unable to make a gift, please consider sending a note of gratitude to the frontline health care workers in our community by emailing grateful@hackensackmeridian.org.
