Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit the Caithness Junior Orchestra's JustGiving page.
Each participant in our practice-a-thon has pledged to do their best to do some private practice on their instrument every day for the two weeks from 13th-27th March 2018. Our orchestra is giving a concert in Mount Pleasant Primary School, Thurso, at 7pm on Wednesday 28th March, so you can come and enjoy the musical results of our practice!
CLIC Sargent is a charity which was founded in memory of the famous orchestral conductor Malcolm Sargent to help children who are affected by cancer. We are proud that our junior orchestra is continuing this long-standing tradition of musicians, professional and amateur, supporting CLIC Sargent's great work.
Every participant also has an old-fashioned paper sponsorship form in case you'd rather make your donation in cash, and we'll collect those up at the concert on the 28th March 2018. But you can also make a donation here using your card any time, either to support an individual participant or the whole orchestra in their practice endeavour.
Please support our young musicians and the work of CLIC Sargent by donating as generously as you can!
