A group of staff from CAFRE's Agriculture Education Team have came together to take part in the 2021 Dragon Boat Race to raise funds the Air Ambulance NI Charity. This charity is especially close to all our hearts due to the amazing service they provide to the rural community in Northern Ireland.

Serious or life-threatening situations can happen to anyone at any time and on average, every single day in Northern Ireland, two individuals find themselves in critical need of AANI. 

The AANI Helicopter can get anywhere in the province in approximately 25-35 minutes and the rapid response is vital in an emergency situation. 

If a patient reaches the hospital in the GOLDEN hour (60 mins after injury) their chances of survival are dramatically increased.

Its not only the medical crew who save lives, but the people who support the charity.
