In these challenging times staying connected is vitally
important for everyone, particularly young people who have seen their world changed significantly.
The students and staff of CAFRE have set themselves a
Charity challenge to “virtually connect” with each other in aid of Aware NI.
To do this they will be undertaking an individual “5km
challenge” from 1st June-30th June to help make the
connection from Greenmount Campus via Loughry Campus to Enniskillen Campus and back
to Greenmount Campus a total of 273km.
What is the CAFRE
Campus Connect 5k challenge?
Between 1st June and 30th June participants
can:
- Walk 7500
steps - Run 5km
- Walk 5km
- Cycle 5km
- Ride a
horse 5km - Drive a
tractor (including a vintage one) 5km - Swim 5km
- Canoe 5km
..or any other way to
travel 5km!
Then make a suggested
donation of £5.00

AWARE NI is the Depression Charity for Northern Ireland.
They have an established network of 23 support groups in rural and urban areas
across the country, which are run by trained volunteers and deliver mental
health and well-being programmes into communities, schools, colleges,
