I'm doing this to raise funds for boys like Jack.  They will never get to do events like this.  Their condition worsens throughout childhood and by their teens they will be in a wheelchair.  We need to raise funds to provide much needed research into this condition. I have a son and cannot imagine being told he won't make it to adulthood.  

I've done this twice (and every time said I wouldn't do it again).  It's the hardest thing I've ever done but it's nothing compared to living with Duchenne.
