Story
Many of you may know Aurora was born 11 and a bit weeks premature (29 weeks) while we were on a day trip to Paris. The fantastic Doctors and Nurses who cared for Aurora every day will forever be in our hearts. Its this reason why I am running the marathon for Bliss. There are hundreds of thousands of babies who need neonatal care each year and every penny will help give other babies and families a fighting chance. Aurora will be 2 years old when the marathon takes place and for those who know me I had a severe knee break 5 years ago, so this will not be easy, but the desire to do well and your support will see me through.
Every 5 minutes, a baby is admitted to neonatal care in the UK.Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. They rely on donations to fund their work, and without our help they won't be able to reach the 100,000 babies needing neonatal care each year.Your donation to my page will help Bliss to drive improvements in neonatal care, to ensure that the needs of babies are at the heart of policy and planning for the future, and to provide information and support to all families with a baby born premature or sick.
