Story
Pedalling coast-to-coast for Josh
On 11 August we are going to be cycling coast-to-coast from Whitehaven to Newcastle for the Christie Hospital, in memory of Josh Hallam, the very brave son of our friends’.
During his long illness he spent a lot of time in the young oncology unit at the Christie, where he received the very best of care.
We plan to do the trip over three days, which will be a real challenge as it’s about 150 miles and getting over the Pennines at 2,000 feet would not be easy even if you were fit (and we’re not!)
What will keep us pedalling, though, is remembering Josh – all throughout his illness he never gave up, and always had a smile on his face.
That’s why we are fundraising in memory of Josh and all contributions would be much appreciated as every penny raised in his name will go towards making life easier for current and future teenage patients in the oncology unit.
It’s a great cause and in the name of an amazing young man, so we do hope you are able to dig deep!
Please take some time to visit his Remembrance site:

Thank you.
