Story
Last year our friend and colleague Stuart was diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma cancer of the spine. Sarcoma is a cancer of the bone and soft tissue. It is one of the hardest to diagnose, and difficult to treat. Stuart has since been operated on, received chemotherapy treatment and is now on the road to recovery through physiotherapy.
Severfield (UK) and Clancy consulting have joined forces to put together a team of cyclists to undertake the Coast to Coast challenge with the aim of raising funds and awareness for Sarcoma UK. This charity supports people like Stu, by helping to get earlier diagnoses, provide patients with specialist advice and get them the best treatments available.
The outstanding group of individuals who are embarking on this challenge are James McCartney, Matt Baxter, Matt Whitehead, Adam Wooley, Mike Carroll, John Calland, Joe Watton, Anthony Wooley, Duncan Baxter, Adrian Rogers, Nigel Power, Rich Johnson, Chris Mills, Ryan Casey, Luke Griffiths, Martyn Headley, Christine Hill, Mike Hooper, Chris Mcdonald, Ryan Downs, Spencer Downs, Matt Aspen, Steven Gibbons, George Freeman, Michael Bryers, Lee Sharda, Mick Slack, Jack Bracegirdle, Aaron Coleman, Andrew Eccles, Andrew Childs, Peter Killen, Mike Bagley, Max Hill and Danny Pilling.
Sarcoma UK couldn’t provide the great support they do without funding. By donating to our challenge, you’re helping to fund vital research into sarcoma that can help people like Stu get the help they need.
Thank you for your support.
