Hello everyone! 

I am finally doing this! I have wanted to do it for such a long time and decided that now Is perfect. 

I will shave my hair live on the 18th of July at 2pm.

Clic Sargent support young people through cancer diagnosis, they work so hard to make a difference to a young person's life who is affected by cancer and their families. They do not get as much press as the other cancer charities so I wanted to help by doing my little bit to get them out there and raise some money for them. 

Most you know, my Grandaughter faced her battle with that horrible desease in 2018. So I asked her how she felt about this and she told me about everything Clic Sargent done for her.

To name a few - They funded a social worker, who works at the YPP at the QE hospital. His name was Sam and he messaged her every week if not day just to check in with her mental health, he went and had cups of tea with her and spoke lots about her feelings and worries. He helped fill in all the forms she needed to get financial assistance while being unable to work through surgeries and treatment. 

They had a social network set up, always offering young people the chance to still do fun things and live their best life. Concerts, meeting famous people, support groups and days out. Charlie enjoyed the young parents with cancer support group. 

Every few months they took Charlie to a top salon in Birmingham City centre and paid for a hair cut or blow dry, had pizza and enabled her to have some relaxing and feel good time, with others in a similar situation. 

Thank you Clic Sargent for the bottom of our hearts. 

Now we are all better and those tough years behind us I want to give back.
