Climate Action Now (CAN)

Ride the Change: Cycle to COP26 · 24 October 2021
C-Capture is designing world-leading chemical processes for carbon dioxide removal, a technology widely recognised as critical in the fight against climate change.
In November, Glasgow will host the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference COP26, and a small team of C-Capture employees are cycling from London to Glasgow for the international conference. The ride takes 7.5 days, from the 24th to the 31st of October.
As a company with environmental responsibility at the core of our objectives, we want to support the Climate Action Now project during our ride.
Climate Action Now (CAN) addresses the issue of climate change by facilitating a reduction in personal carbon footprint and increasing general awareness of climate change among the public. CAN aims to deliver immediate results by absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, protecting biodiversity and providing employment to disadvantaged families. The project's objective is to plant 1,000,000 trees to offset carbon dioxide emissions of more than 560 UK residents for 20 years. In addition, CAN is planting the seeds for future cultural change by educating 40 climate change teachers and 1,000 children.
Please help us raise funds for this project to reduce the planet's CO2 levels and thus combat climate change. Thank you for your generosity and support!
