As you may be aware, my wife, Di, had a scare earlier this year.  Luckily for us, we found that her condition was a low grade cancer and was treatable - a positive prognosis! We were treated brilliantly by the excellent staff at the Royal Marsden and continue to be so.

However, it opened our eyes to the excellent work that the Royal Marsden does every day and the challenges people face with cancer with amazing good grace.  I resolved to do something to give back and plan to do the Windsor Triathlon this year, my inaurgaral Olympic distance (1 mile swim, 40km on the bike and 10 km run) and raise some money for the Royal Marsden.
