Imagine your worst fear.

Mine would be standing in front of a room full of people and trying to make them laugh.

Okay, technically my worst fear would be finding out that Nando’s were turning into a Vegan only restaurant chain, but standing in front of a room full of people and trying to make them laugh is certainly in the top 10 things that would make me want to scream and run away.

So, I’m doing it in 2018. I’m going to perform a 5-minute comedy routine at the next Stand up for GamesAid night hosted by the amazing Imran Yusuf. It’s going to be in front of a room full of my games industry peers, some of whom will have known me for years. I don’t mind telling you it’s brown trousers time!

This is all for GamesAid who do an amazing job raising money for Children’s charities in the UK. We should all do our bit to help them out so this is me doing mine. It’s either going to be great or ‘ground open up and swallow me now’ cringe worthy bad - come and see how I get on!

Between now and the actual night I get onto that stage I am going to be doing a number of videos charting the progress and interviewing comedians to get tips on how not to die on the night. The amazingly talented Imran Yusuf will be mentoring me throughout the entire process and no doubt forcing me onto the stage when the dreaded day comes.
