Story
18 intrepid Year 12s and staff from Bishop Wordsworth's School are going to sleep on the cloister floors of Salisbury Cathedral overnight in the chill of early March. With just cardboard and a sleeping bag, the damp and unforgiving stones of the cloisters do not allow comfort or familiarity. But we see too often people with no home in our city and we want to do everything we can to support Alabare and change this. One night is not much to ask for such a good cause.
Alabare are a charity supporting vulnerable, homeless and marginalised people. They help them to transform their lives, providing accommodation and helping them gain the skills, confidence and opportunities to live a fulfilled life.
