The RAF100 Appeal is aiming to raise funds for the four major RAF Charities, the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, the Royal Air Forces Association, the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust and the Royal Air Force Museum. The aim of the Appeal is to raise money for the RAF family and to create a lasting legacy as we celebrate 100 years of the Royal Air Force in 2018.

Biker Veterans from Suffolk will take part in various Rides of Remembrance throughout the year and will Recall the stories of the RAF’s brave servicemen and women whilst Raising Funds for RAF Charities.

What we will do

BVROR will conduct a series of motorcycle ride-outs visiting sites of significance relating to the 100^th Anniversary of the RAF. Throughout the year we will Recall the stories of the servicemen and women of the RAF and Raise some funds for RAF Charities whilst were having fun doing it.

Events in the pipeline include:

• A private group tour of Wattisham Military Heritage Museum in 2018
• Supporting another Bikers charity event where they are riding the coast of the country on Royal Enfields starting in Brighton
• Supporting the RAF100 Baton Relay when it reaches East Anglia
• A private group ride-out and tour to the RAF Regiment Museum at RAF Honington - hosted by the station Classsic Motorcycle Club
• Ride Oouts to Bawdsey Radar Museum, Bentwaters Cold War Museum, Parham Airfield Museum, the Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum, The City of Norwich Aviation Museum and Wattisham Station Military Heritage Museum - all of which were active RAF Stations during WW2
• Supporting the Suffolk Armed Forces Day event in Bury St Edmunds in June 2018
