Story

I'm making something good out of a bad situation...

I left London three months ago to cycle across six continents. The adventure I had dreamed about would take me five years to complete. My ride across Europe was magnificent but when I got to Istanbul with a dodgy left knee I discovered that I could not yet complete my challenge. Unfortunately I need surgery on my knee. It will be small op but I will have to spend 3 months at home before I can return to Istanbul to continue my world ride. Thanks to a certain Icelandic volcano flying home does not seem like an option for at least a week so I have decided to hitch-hike back to the UK. I have made some signs (pictured above) and am ready for a new mini-adventure.

Although I am miffed that I cannot continue my ride just yet I am urging you to help me prove that everything happens for a reason. Please donate online here and help raise money for a fantastic charity.

To find out more about my bike ride visit my site www.cyclingthe6.com and my blog www.cyclingthe6.blogspot.com

Many thanks

Steve
