I am taking part in the Cherry Blossom Challenge to raise funds for the Empower Her Campaign.

The Empower Her Campaign is a transformative initiative by Islamic Relief aimed at empowering women through sustainable livelihood opportunities. By supporting women, we uplift families and entire communities. This campaign enables women to access resources, training, and tools needed to build a brighter future for themselves and their families.

We want to create a space for women of different professions and backgrounds, to come together and raise £100,000 to fund livelihood projects in Pakistan and Niger. This is an opportunity that will help transform the lives of women in need and help them break out of the poverty cycle.

All funds raised will go directly to support two livelihood projects:

• In Pakistan: Providing vocational training and business facilitation for marginalised women and widows.

• In Niger: Creating sustainable agricultural opportunities and improving access to clean water for women.
