*3 km 'three legged run' through the centre of Cambridge.
We want to raise as much money as possible for 'Cherish Uganda', the charity Tim will be working for when we move to Uganda in August.
Cherish Uganda is an AIDS orphange in Akaloosa village in Uganda, which aims to cherish orphans living with HIV/AIDS and give them hope for the future. The project has been running 3 years and there are currently 40 orphans being cared for, educated and brought up by the Cherish family. Tim will be working as the construction and maintenance manager, responsible for design and construction of new buildings (such as houses and classrooms) and new initiatives such as a sustainable farm!
We believe the charity is a very worthwhile cause and your contribution can go a very long way in giving a child proper nutrition, a stable home and the right environment for anti-retroviral drugs to be effective and allow them to lead a long and healthy life! If you want to know more, please visit the web site at www.cherishuganda.org.
Please give what you can afford - and we can claim gift aid too to make your donation go even further!
Thanks for your support!
