My Wife has spent the last 10 years in a Nursing Home because of Strokes and I lost my Best Friend to a Stroke, so I know how damaging they can be.

After Heart Disease and Cancer Strokes are the 3rd biggest killer in the UK. Every year it is estimated that 150,000 people in the UK suffer their 1st Stroke - thats roughly 1 new victim every 5 minutes!

By raising money for the Stroke Association I hope to help them to work towards their aims of minimising the effects and eventually eradicating Strokes altogether.

On June 20th / 21st I will, in my capacity as Captain of Barton-under Needwood Golf Society (BUNGS), be playing golf, continually, for 24 hours: Yes, thats right, through the night as well (using illuminated balls!) Please support my effort, dig deep and donate now.
