The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

Bungee Jump completed!!!

Hi, I'm Caitlin.

My elder sister Rachael was diagnosed 8 years ago with a brain tumour that has caused her eyesight to degenerate over the years, she now has no eyesight in her left eye and little sight left in her right eye.
Since all this has happened, she has been dependent on my mum and the rest of my family to help her get around; but now she has Saffron, her guide dog.

There are no words to explain how much Saffron has done to help my sister get her independence back. She's been able to go out by herself, even just for a 5 minute walk; I've never seen her this happy and full of life in over 8 years. Therefore, I wanted to do something for the charity that has given me back my happy, bubbly big sister.

Next year, I'm going to South Africa and I'll have a chance to do a bungee jump; so why not try to raise some money while doing it!

Please give, even just a small amount, so that The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association can continue their amazing work, and hopefully help someone else like my sister!
