Hi there, thank you in advance for taking the time to read about our MS Fundraiser which will be taking place around May/June 2021 dates to be confirmed close to the time. Our group comprises of the children and partners of myself and my sister, who both live in South Wales and have also both been diagnosed with MS. The group name “Bundown” is a combination of our surnames (myself contributing “Bun” taken from Bundy and my sister adding the “Down” from Lansdown.
My sister was diagnosed with RRMS over 24 years ago and I myself was diagnosed with RRMS in 2010. We are both living with the day to day challenges which MS presents us with, but we refuse to let it define us. Sadly we are unable to complete this demanding challenge ourselves but our close family have committed to achieving it on our behalf. The Challenge entails the Welsh 3 Peaks a steep hike up Pen-Y-Fan, Cadair Idris & Snowdon or in reverse. The aim is to complete a mountain a day however if weather and travel allows at the time they are pushing to complete all 3 within 48 hours! They have our support behind them, every step of the way, as they set out to raise as much funds for the MS Society as is humanly possible. The funds raised will undoubtedly help the amazing research and treatment developments that have been emerging from the society over recent years.
Any donation will be gratefully received and will make a huge difference to people’s lives, whether that be now, or in the near future, when we can “kiss goodbye to MS”.
Thanks again for taking the time to read our challenge.
