Every week in the UK, around two families are told their child has neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. We fund leading research projects to deliver new, effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. With your help we can save more young lives.

Story

The indomitable Ruairi-Bum is back with a new challenge for 2022 to raise more money for Neuroblastoma UK in memory of his late best friend, Elara, who sadly passed away from this awful disease.

You might remember Ruairi as being the 3 year old boy wonder who wrote himself into the record books earlier in 2021 by becoming the youngest person ever to climb up England's tallest mountain, Scafell Pike.  Ruairi raised a huge amount of money for Neuroblastoma UK and was cheered on all over the world.  But, he doesn't want to stop there!

This walk will be harder, the terrain will be tougher, the mountain will be taller, but, Ruairi proudly accepts the new challenge and vows once again to do the unimaginable by climbing the tallest mountain in Wales, Snowdon on 8th June 2022.  There will be no world record this time, but at the tender age of 4 Ruairi is attempting to have chalked off the tallest mountain's in England and Wales.

Ruairi is keen to keep Elara's spirit alive and will continue to raise money and awareness for Neuroblastoma UK to honour her life and their friendship, by helping other children. He will always have a little angel to guide him through his toughest challenges in life. Coupled with his steely determination and inspired by Elara's eternal flame he really can do anything!

Please show your support by donating what you can to help fight this cruel disease.
